As of approximately 7:40AM today 10/14, voice (desk phone) services have been down for multiple state agencies. This is known to be affecting all call center phone services. This is a known issue and a resolution is currently being sought by AZNet. We will provide updates on this issue as soon as they become available.

As of 5:25 PM, PDU 202B was connected to the EPO Switch, tested, and brought back up successfully!

We are now heading up to the 3rd Floor to complete the final PDU of the evening - PDU 303B.

The next update will occur when this PDU has been connected, tested, and brought back up to complete our activities this evening.

This final update should happen within the next 30 minutes.

As of 4:58 PM, the work on the A Path of Power has been completed.  PDU 105A has been connected to the EPO switch, tested and successfully brought back up!

At 5:02 PM, the first of two (2)  B Power Path PDUs - PDU 202B - was brought down.

The next update will occur when PDU 202B is connected, tested and brought back up successfully, approximately in 30 minutes.

As of 4:31 PM, the second PDU - PDU 303A was connected to the EPO switch, and tested successfully!

As of 4:36 PM, the third PDU - PDU 105A was taken down.

The next update will occur when PDU 105A is connected and tested successfully, approximately 30 minutes from now.

Our second PDU to be connected today - PDU 303A - was brought down at 4:03 PM.

The next update will occur when PDU 303A has been successfully tested, and we are ready to move on to PDU number 3 - PDU 105A

We are about to start bringing down PDU 303A.    We have made up 10 minutes on our schedule.

The first PDU - 202A - was successfully brought down at 3:25 AM.  

Right now, we are approximately 25 minutes behind schedule, but we are not willing to "rush into failure," as one of our esteemed colleagues always says.  We are making sure that everything being done is being done correctly so it doesn't have to be done again.

The next posting will occur when PDU 202A has been successfully brought back up, and we are ready to take down the second PDU of the day - PDU 303A.

We are about to begin this afternoon's EPO Swich activities -  PDU 202A is starting at 3:03 PM.

I will provide another update on AZCOOP and on the Meet Me Bridge Line at (602) 771-9093 when PDU 202A has been successfully connected, and we are about to move to PDU 303A.   This update should occur within the next 30 minutes.

The completion of the Emergency Power Off (EPO) Switch activities, which entails the connection of the remaining five (5) Power Distribution Units (PDUs) to the EPO switch is a GO, and will be starting with PDU 202A at precisely 3:00 PM.

At the present time, the Meet Me Bridge Line was established at 602-771-9093 at 2:36 PM, and will be available through the entire effort.   We are still awaiting the qarrival of some of the personnel that will be executing this activity, but we are confident in our previously announced start time of 3:00 PM.

Additional updates will occur through AZCOOP as we move to each PDU through the entire effort.

The next update will be to announce the commencement of this activity with PDU 202A at 3:00 PM

The Emergency Power Off switch connections to the remaining five (5) Power Distribution Units have been rescheduled for Saturday, June 13, 2015, beginning at 3:00 PM.

PDU 303A    Group 2   -   3:45 PM

PDU 105A   Group 3   -    4:30 PM

PDU 202B   Group 1   -    5:00 PM

PDU 303B   Group 2   -    5:30 PM

All activity related to the EPO Project for Saturday 06/06/2015 has been cancelled. The FIKE Subject Matter Expert (SME) had a family emergency and was unable to be on-site to certify the fire panel. As a result all EPO activity has cancelled.

A notification regarding the rescheduling of this activity will be forthcoming.

All work related to the installation of the Temporary ATS has been completed successfully.. All CRAC units are up and running w/o issue.

Installation of the Temporary ATS was completed successfully.. All CRAC units have been returned to Data Center power and are up and running. Crews are continuing to perform minor clean-up work. Current ETA for completion of all clean-up work is 06:00 AM.

Cutover to the temporary ATS is complete. Testing of ATS has been successfully completed. The process of disconnecting the 2nd and 3rd floor CRAC units from the backup generator and reconnecting to the SDC panels has begun.

Current ETA for completion of all work is 06:00 AM.

Installation of the temporary ATS unit for the 2nd & 3rd floor equipment rooms started at 1030 PM. Tie in to the temporary ATS is complete. The ATS has been energized and the Russell Gear has been successfully tested. Additional testing is in progress.
